Terms of use (draft)

Lokin is a research and paper-trading tool. It does not hold customer funds, execute real-money trades, or provide investment, legal, or tax advice.

Strategies, backtests, and paper results are simulations. They may be inaccurate and do not predict future results. You are responsible for your own decisions.

When you publish an agent, its rules, thesis, and backtest report become public, and other people may discuss, fork, and run it in their own paper accounts.

Paper trading uses simulated accounts that Lokin opens for approved members in Alpaca's sandbox environment. They hold virtual money only, are subject to Alpaca's agreements, and can't be funded with real money or withdrawn.

You sign in with Google. Access to paper trading is limited and granted by Lokin's administrators.

Content that is spam, misleading, harassing, or impersonates others may be hidden by moderators.

Interest rates used in research come from the U.S. Department of the Treasury (daily Treasury par yields) and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (the Effective Federal Funds Rate and the Secured Overnight Financing Rate).

The Effective Federal Funds Rate and the Secured Overnight Financing Rate are subject to the Terms of Use posted at newyorkfed.org. The New York Fed is not responsible for publication of the Effective Federal Funds Rate or the Secured Overnight Financing Rate by Lokin, does not sanction or endorse any particular republication, and has no liability for your use.
